While sourcing candidates you can Send an Invite, Schedule an Event, and Record an Event.
How to Add Event
While viewing the list of candidates for an open vacancy or EOI, click Add Event under the Activity filter to create a new event.
You can also click Add Event when viewing a specific candidate profile.
Next, you'll need to complete and fill in the event information:
- Event Type
- Invite Method
- Defaults to the last used method
- Date
- Time zone
- Based on user browser settings
- Time
There are 3 different options and fields available for Invite Method:
- Send an invite
- Schedule an event
- Record an event
- Reviewing your calendar
Send an Invite
Send an email invitation directly to a candidate or other attendee's calendar.
To send the invite to additional guests, select Add Guest in the top right corner of the event details.
Fill in required information for additional guests:
You can also add additional attendees from your organization by searching their name or email in the And:
To finalize the invite details, you'll add a Title, Location or Video Call Link, and Description (which can be generated from templates).
You can add any attachments needed, as well as mark the interview as Private if desired.
Once all event details have been completed, you are ready to Save and send your invitation.
Once sent all invited attendees will receive an email to accept the invite, and add it to their calendar(s).
Schedule an Event
Confirming a pre-arranged event or interview
This option is used when you want to send a booking link to candidates, allowing them to select a time that best suits them. A scheduling tool like Calendly can be utilized here.
Fill in the Invitation Message by selecting from a template or writing your own custom message.
Check, whether you would like to include a booking link.
Select the Type of link, and paste that link in the Invite URL field.
Once all event details have been completed, you are ready to Save and send your invitation.
Record an Event
Capture details for a past or future event
Log details for an event that already took place, or for an event in the future.
Select the Date and Time of the event and click Save to record the event.
